Hey friends! Here are some updates from Rwanda. We’ve celebrated Christmas with six different groups of children. Four times in Karongi and two times in our kindergartens in Gisenyi. The teenagers who study sewing, and young people who study construction, had to go home for the holidays, so we celebrated Christmas with them a little earlier than it came.
We talked with all of them about Jesus, about His birth – we made crafts with them, gave them gifts, and at the very end surprised them with a sweet treat.
The next day, we organized a celebration for our students from first to fourth grade, as well as for all kindergartens that are located in Karongi. We watched a cartoon about the birth of Christ, remembered the Christmas story and did some crafts. And of course, at the very end we had a very delicious lunch. There were dishes on our menu that kids don’t have the opportunity to eat every day. Such as rice, fried potatoes with sauce, vegetables, their favorite fanta, bananas and mangoes.
Similar celebrations were organized in the city of Gisenyi in two kindergartens.
We also celebrated Christmas in another area of Karongi, where teenagers preformed a Christmas play, song, and had a delicious lunch at the end.

The Christmas spirit was everywhere in Karongi with teenagers preforming a play and singing songs.
Thank you all so much for your participation in these wonderful holidays. With your help, we managed to feed approximately 1,700 people including children, teachers, and staff! May God reward every caring heart and may He send you many blessings in 2025.
