Updates from Rwanda We have seen God work in the hearts of our teenagers to continue attending school! They come to GHH on weekends while attending regular local schooling throughout the week. Although we are sure that our efforts are not in vain! We understand that the temptation to drop out of school is still very strong, but it encourages us to support them in prayer even more! Last week we had guests from Germany – young men and women: Lewis, Michael, Samuel, Tobias and Julia.
In the short time that they visited us, they brought great joy and blessing to our village! Products were distributed to more than 300 families and they received about a months worth of food! God is taking care of them as the cost of food increases everyday. Raised prices are heavily felt by locals but glory to God our Provider!
Thank you immensely to our friends from Germany and America who sent wonderful things for our pre-school (mats, picture books, toys, Lego, and posters). With these generous gifts, Tim and I were able to change up the space that our 2-3 year olds occupy! In other news, our students from the sewing workshop went on vacation for a week. The construction also continues! Particularly, the construction on the roof is in full swing now. Thank God for all His mercies. He has been, is, and will continue to be our ever-present help.
