There were a lot of interesting events in August. Teenagers come to us every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We pray, conduct Bible lessons, and draw. After lunch we play sports games. On Wednesday we go boating and swimming. Nikki, a volunteer from Germany, organized a boat trip with the teenagers where we stayed on two islands. The first one we stopped by had bats. We climbed to the very top to see all the beauty from the top of the hill. It was breathtaking.
Then we visited an island with monkeys which we were excited to see. Then we went to another island where we had some time to swim. After our boat trip, we went to a restaurant. The hostess of the restaurant blessed us with delicious food. Trips like these are a great blessing to our teenagers and it’s our joy to provide them with experiences they wouldn’t have otherwise! Continue to pray that God expands our reach!!
Kids come to us on Tuesday and Thursday. In the morning we exercise and conduct a prayer time, bible lesson, a time for drawing and sports. This week we taught them how to play dodgeball. It was so much fun. On Saturday, we escorted volunteers from Germany back home. After we celebrated birthdays.
On Sunday we went to church for a local service. Overall, we had a very eventful week! Stay tuned for more updates!!
