Educating the future generation

After spending over a year in my home country, it is joyful to return to my work again – to conduct Bible lessons for local children.
The first time I visited Rwanda was in 2012. I have lived here with local people (with short breaks for home trips) for more than five years. During this period, I have witnessed many changes. I can say with confidence that Bwishyura is developing rapidly. It is a great blessing to participate in this process.
There is notable progress in our preschoolers’ development. If the teachers were to recall our first classes a few years ago, the children who came to us were withdrawn and timid. It was difficult to connect with them and get them to engage. Now, the children we see daily are much more liberated and disposed to learning. They look forward to each lesson, actively participate in the discussion of topics, and answer questions.
I am grateful to God for the opportunity to be here and serve the people of Bwishyura.
