We Are Working to reduce poverty

As we help an increasing number of people, our organisation keeps growing. More and more volunteers, teachers, cooks, security guards, construction workers, and others are joining our team. Unfortunately, these dedicated people only get a very modest reward for their hard work. Though we try to support the staff members and their families in ways other than monetary – providing them with clothes and basic groceries whenever we can, they can still hardly make both ends meet.
Our desire is that our organisation would have the opportunity to support not only the people we take care of, but also the caregivers themselves. Our workers are the ones who dedicate all their time to the increasing work of our mission, and it is our great desire that they themselves would not remain in need.
Dear friends, if you have a desire in your heart to support our Rwandan workers or volunteers, please know that you are providing for the people who are the backbone of our programs.
We are really thankful for the first donations that were recently made towards increasing teachers’ salaries. They have enabled us to raise it from 2 dollars a day to 4. We are looking for the opportunity to start giving our volunteers a monthly incentive as well.
