Back to Rutiti

My very first trip to Africa was to Rutiti’s mountain settlement. After spending only a month and a half among the friendly, sincere, and authentic people, I decided that I would come back here. I am overjoyed that this dream came true.
A bakery built by GHH employees is still up and running, continuing to supply fresh bread to the local community daily. Our faithful helper, Eugenie (she is in the photo), together with Constantiniy and other local women, still cooks delicious soup for children regularly. Rutiti’s locals have also experienced much development. In place of mud houses, there are now two new brick houses that will soon open their doors to eight local families and several single people.
In recent years, many people from different countries have participated in the life of this mountain settlement, and this work is not in vain.
